Does anyone know a rough PSI to let your tyres down when riding on sand? I think I'm running them at 40PSI for the road. I might try half of that for sand :)

It really depends on the weight of your bike, as well as what type and size of tires you are using. If you're bike currently sport stock tires (or follows original specification) then I suggest you check the manual, as it should tell you the proper PSI for that certain bike. But personally 40PSI is too much for me if running on the road.
