Motorcycle seat-belts...they have to be a bad idea!

Every now and again I will watch a motoring programme and there will be some city-style motorbike with a seat-belt! Now to me, this MUST makes things a lot more dangerous, after all, if you fall of your bike you want to be as far away from it as possible right? Just wondering what you guys think?

This is the worst idea ever. If you crash (specially at high speeds) the bike will be thrown at random directions and positions. The last time I crashed my bike flipped vertical. So imagine yourself hanging on your bike while it does those circus acts! It's a natural personal protection for people to be thrown away from their bikes and I guess it will be better that way than to be dragged away by a monster..

I totally agree with you dear and I am also going to say you the same thing that the seat belts on motorcycle will more dangerous for the riders. It can increase the risk of damaging your legs. So I don't think its an good idea to install seat belts on motorbikes.
