Has anyone used Johnson Paste Wax to waterproof cotton, such as a Barbour jacket. Any input on what to use?

I recently finished Re-proofing my Belstaff TRIALmaster jacket and pants with "DUCK BACK" reproofing cream for oilskin clothing. (Spcl.Mfg'd.for: Outback Trading Co. LTD. Oxford,PA.)

(4oz.)$6 at 'Sportsman's Warehouse'. Internet prices range to $14.

This is useful, but I prefer raincoats. It is 100% waterproof.. And I like the way it feels when I take the raincoat off. I'm 90% dry!
