I just read this article about the best riding advice the writer ever got.

That made me wonder, what would you say is the best advice you ever got? Or what's the best advice you'd give to a fellow rider or a new rider? I've been riding for years, but I always try to learn from others, read about technique, and improve my skills.

Well, at driving school, they said that I should be able to stop the bike on the road I can see infront of me. So you adjust the speed by the area you see infront of you. If you don't see around corner, you slow.

Every tips should start first with the bike itself. Every time you ride specially during long driving, make sure everything is in perfect shape. Start with the tires, which not need to have full pressure, check brakes including brake fluids, give both tires a quick spin by hand to find any irregularities in their movements, chain should be proper, make sure signal lights, brake light and flashers are working properly and finally do not use fancy side mirrors in which the sizes are way below standard!
